Now is the time to encourage more children to ride and make bicycling safer. The two go hand-in-hand. Thats why we established the Bikes Belong Foundation.

We need to build mutual respect among motorists and cyclists. We need to slow traffic. We need to provide safe places to ride. We need to create communities where people of all ages can enjoy bicycling without fear. These issues affect health, safety, and quality of life.

The Bikes Belong Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, focuses on:
* Bicycle safety projects
* Children’s bicycle programs

The foundation operates as a charitable organization that can receive tax-deductible donations from individuals.
